My Right Wing Dad - Great Resource, but ...

I took a look at the latest on MyRightWingDad.com, namely http://myrightwingdad.blogspot.com/2012/11/fw-america-pronounces-judgment-on-itself.html (it may not be the "latest" by the time you read this).

This blog does a great service simply by bringing to light a lot of the misinformation that gets circulated in anonymous emails, which urge the reader, if a "true American" to forward it to as many other upstanding Americans as possible.  The fact that citizen X receives this email from Aunt Sally, clearly seems to weaken the skepticism you'd normally have about anonymous claims coming out of nowhere.


Sadly, the comment section, too much like that of many right wing blogs seems to represent a little club-house where people call other people stupid, and compete for the most clever/nasty wordplays/putdowns.

Here's what I added:
 I'm afraid what's going on here is a mirror image of what goes on in the right wing blogs: just calling people stupid, and competing for the most clever/nasty wordplays/putdowns.

Few people want to think about is seriously.

So little serious attention is paid to the right-wing blogosphere that Pres. Obama seemed to think Romney originated the "Apology tour" meme, which has been strenuously promoted for the last 3-1/2 years.

A new and very disturbing meme is you see "sic semper tyrannis" all over the place if you know where to look. Latin for something "thus always to tyrants", but better know as what John Wilkes Booth shouted as he killed President Lincoln. For some extended thoughts on this, see
